We have many years experience in the management of estates, from the letting of small parcels of agricultural and equestrian land on short-term grazing licences, through to the management of farms let on longer-term tenancies.
Our full management service includes marketing the property, finding an appropriate grazier/tenant, condition survey, preparation of the most appropriate type of letting agreement, arranging insurance and repairs, rent collection, periodic rent review, and all other Landlord/Tenant issues.
When advising you on the most appropriate letting arrangement for your property we can work with your solicitor and accountant to ensure that the potential tax implications are properly explored, and also advise upon the relationship with other land-related matters, such as the Single Payment Scheme. Our experience means that we also know what potential issues to look out for and we have become increasingly involved with Town and Village Green Applications on potential development land.
We also deal with commercial rural businesses and currently manage a touring and static caravan park and a major visitor attraction. Both of these projects have involved diversification schemes that we obtained planning permission for, and our involvement has increased to a level that we provide full day-to-day management of the businesses, drawing on expertise from across our departments.
