From Skipton head East on the A59 (Harrogate) continuing straight across at the roundabout with the A65 for about 4 miles to the roundabout at Bolton Abbey and take the first exit (B6160 Burnsall). Continue on this road for about 3 miles to Barden and turn right dropping down over Barden Bridge and continuing for about 1 mile to Howgill bearing off to the right onto Howgill Lane.
